Shipment planning checklist; obtain destination-specific professional advice.
Compare the same scope
Ask each provider to state the named delivery place, agreed trade term and included services. A garment price and a delivered quotation are not directly comparable unless their scope is clear. Do not assume a website statement defines your contract.
Assign responsibilities
Before placing an order, confirm who arranges transport, customs documentation, import clearance, insurance and final delivery. Ask a qualified logistics or customs adviser to review destination requirements and the proposed responsibilities.
Confirm tax treatment
Duty rates, classification, importer eligibility and tax recovery require transaction-specific review. This guide does not supply a tariff rate, determine the importer of record or promise VAT recovery. Obtain written advice for the actual goods and destination.
Keep a shipment file
Agree the required invoice, packing details and any supporting records with the parties responsible for clearance. Record delivery milestones, inspection arrangements, handling of delays and claims. HARCHOY delivery availability and commercial terms are confirmed per quotation.
